I've been taking photos since 2019. I bought a Canon starter kit to photograph bread for my (no longer updated) breadsite but ended up taking it on hikes and walks. In 2020, when I was preparing for a move, I decided to select 8 photos from the year to frame in a 3x3 grid (handwritten year in the middle). I've been doing it every year since then.
These collections hang at my home but I thought I would share them here. I bias towards photos that print well cropped to 5x7 landscape (though for the 2024 collection I have two portraits...). I've opted for a different arrangement here than in my frame just for fun. This act is a nice way to reflect on the year, share with friends, remember times passed, and notice themes and improvement in my work.
